What the heck. Impeach the bastard. So what does that get you? Likely no Senate conviction, but if - the left's worst nightmare - they get a President Pence.
The prospect of Pence as president is the ultimate example of how Democrats should be careful what they wish for.
I'm waiting to see, should Pres Trump be convicted, how Sen Warren will explain away her efforts to have the far right-wing VP Pence installed as POTUS . . .

Did you know that chief justice Pocahontas' nana told her she was part lawyer because of her high volume of BS?

Trump awards next G7 summit to his own Doral golf resort
President Donald Trump has awarded the 2020 G7 Summit of world leaders to his own private company, scheduling the summit for June at his Trump Doral golf resort outside Miami, the White House announced on Thursday.

That decision is without precedent in modern American history: The president used his public office to direct a massive contract to himself. The G7 Summit draws hundreds of diplomats, journalists and security personnel, as well as a worldwide spotlight.
Trump has visited his own properties more than 100 times as president, sometimes bringing along foreign leaders. Those visits have resulted in tens of thousands of dollars in revenue for his businesses, as the U.S. government — and other governments — pay for their personnel to accompany him.

But this is something on a different scale: seven foreign leaders, plus hundreds of other foreign personnel, would be housed at Trump’s resort near the Miami airport. Trump is already facing lawsuits for allegedly violating the Constitution’s ban on receiving “emoluments” from foreign governments.

By doing this, he could be inviting a huge increase in the very line of business that these lawsuits are scrutinizing.

There is no way to spin this. Ego, greed and yes, corruption.

It's like he's rubbing everyone's nose in it with this, it's amazing!

Pelosi has shut down this line of inquiry for Impeachment. Perhaps that will change now.

Excuse me but Trump has already said that the services of Doral are going to be given at cost. He donates his pay to different agencies of the government. He has lost by all accounts a great deal of money since becoming president.

The Democrats continue to have no evidence that Trump has done anything illegal since he became president. Nothing Nada Zip. Despite having a fake dossier various domestic and foreign intelligence services digging and manufacturing evidence that Trump did something illegal. Now they are in perpetual impeachment mode.

My proof(more than just evidence) The Democrats complete lack of curiosity WRT to any exculpatory evidence in Trump's favor

Yes, there is no evidence out there that Pres Trump has committed an impeachable offense. Generally speaking, his policies have advanced American interests. Like him or not, America has prospered.

I'm glad that my idea of prosperity is a bit different from what we see in America...

Yes, well Trump lost a great deal of money when he wasn't President too!

And Mueller is a Republican.
